Tom Walker’s debut album ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ enters at No. 1 in the UK Official Album Charts. It is the fastest selling debut album in the last 2 years.
After seeing his single ‘Leave A Light On’ become an international hit in 2018, Tom has started 2019 with a bang having been nominated for two Brit Awards: British Breakthrough and Best Single! The awards take place on the 20th Feb 2019 at the O2 Arena in London.
Tom performed ‘Leave a Light On’ with his band on a TOP OF THE POPS Xmas Special broadcast on Christmas Day on BBC 1. Other artist that performed were Jess Glynn, Sigrid, Clean Bandit and Rita Ora.
Tom performed ‘Leave a Light On’ on the ITV’s X Factor both in the quarter finals week as a special guest and also in the weekend of the final this time as a duet with finalist Anthony Russell.
Tom was invited to perform at the annual dinner for The Royal Foundation. He met and performed to The Duke & Duchess of Sussex and Cambridge and a small audience in aid for the charitable clauses the foundation supports.
It has just been announced that Tom will perform as a guest in this years X Factor on ITV. He will be on next weeks show (Sunday Nov 18th) performing his international hit single ‘Leave a Light On’. Tom won the International Newcomer award at the Los40 awards in Spain last week. He was nominated alongside Post Malone, Marshmallo, Anne Marie and Liam Payne. As well as winning the award he also performed at the event to over 15,000 people.
